DXF to SVG Converter

DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) is a CAD file format created by Autodesk. It's used by engineers, architects, and CNC operators in software like AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, FreeCAD, and LibreCAD for precision technical drawings.

Cricut Design Space doesn't accept DXF files directly, so you need SVG. SVG also works in web browsers, graphic design tools like Figma and Illustrator, and is more widely supported for sharing with people who don't have CAD software.

DXF files use real-world units (mm, inches) while SVG uses pixels, so there can be scaling differences. The converter preserves the geometry and proportions. For precision work, verify the final dimensions in your target application.

Lines, polylines, circles, arcs, ellipses, and common 2D entities. Complex features like 3D elements, blocks, hatches, and dimension annotations may not convert correctly. For best results, use 2D DXF files and convert text to outlines in your CAD software first.
